- Partition by Bootable windows CD
Partition by using Bootable windows CD. Now days people generally use this method to make partition because window 98 bootable cd or floppy cannot read the high capacity hard disk but these CD detects the high capacity hard disk and one more advantage is that after creating the hard disk partition it allows to format the partition in NTFS and FAT 32 and after formating it loads the windows in the desired partition.
Partition using Bootable window CD XP sp2
Step 1: Switch on the system
Step 2: Continously press the del button to enter in the CMOS
Step 3: Now go to the advanced feature and change the first boot option to the CD or Floppy drive from which you want to boot. And to save the setting press F10 and then press enter
Step 4: Insert the Bootable Window CD
Step 5: Now your system will automatically start loading the windows file
