Lesson 9: Creating and Disabling Password

1. Giving CMOS password

Restart your computer press Del to enter the CMOS

Now select SET USER PASSWORD

Enter Password

Confirm Password

Now Save & Exit

Now every time you enter in CMOS you will be asked to enter the user password

2. Disabling password

Restart your computer press Del to enter the CMOS

Now enter user password to enter in the CMOS

Now select SETUSER PASSWORD

It will ask you to enter new passord without typing any key press enter

Then the information will be given that password is disabled.

Now Save & Exit

Note: If you have forgotten the password than remove the CMOS Battery and insert it again the password will be disabled.
